Led by the exuberant trombonist Andy Hillier, the Hot Jazz Aces play an infectious variety of New Orleans, Dixieland and classic jazz. The young members of the band bring a real freshness to a style of music that has been enjoyed all over the world for generations. They create a warm rapport with audiences wherever they appear, performing popular vocal numbers as well as traditional instrumental arrangements. The ability to call upon either clarinet or tenor sax, banjo or guitar, sousaphone or double bass gives ample opportunity for variety in the band`s repertoire - from early 20's dance music to mid 30's swing.
